Nominations are now being accepted for the Book Blogger Appreciation Week awards over at the My Friend Amy blog. There are 24 categories plus a write-in category. Is it wrong that we’re begging for your nominations? Nahh… we’re not proud. Here are a couple categories I, in my humble opinion, think we might be eligible for:

• Best General Book Blog
• Best Design
• Most Eclectic Taste
• Best Name for a Blog

You can nominate up to two blogs in any category (check out some of our bookseller friend blogs, listed in the right column, for some other worthy sites). Nominations need to be in by this Sunday, August 31 and you can email them here. Each category will be narrowed to the top five blogs by number of nominations received, so please be sure to write in! Starting on 9/15 you’ll be able to vote!
