The fabulous Robert Burdock of RobAroundBooks puts an incredible amount of work into his book-oriented website, and it is one of the places that I visit first to learn about what’s going on in the UK book world. Rob lives in Scotland, and I love to see the differences and similarities in the literary arena.

I think of Rob’s site as a literary magazine, and so I was quite honored when Rob asked Michael and me if we would be interviewed for his “Reader of the Week” feature. We jumped at the chance (though Rob did have to gently chase us down to get our responses — sorry, Rob!). My turn was last week, and today is the beginning of Michael’s stint as RobAroundBooks’ Reader of the Week. Rob asks some great questions, so please go learn more about my esteemed colleague Michael by clicking over to Rob’s site. And then bookmark RobAroundBooks, because it’s always a treat to visit.

Ann – you say the nicest things. Fabulous? That’s the first time anyone has called me that. I’m off to show my wife :o)

Joking aside though it was an absolute honour featuring both of you. You do a wonderful job here, and you both provide a valuable service. Thank you!
