Chris, what a great group of titles. I would happily read all of those as well!

Hazra, welcome! I'm on an 'eat healthy' kick right now, so I'm going to have to enjoy my baked goods through the book, alas.

I'd love to read the biography of the queen. The memoirs of Bullock-Prado also sound interesting and...delicious.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll be picking up Lost to the West and Queen Mother.

I'm also looking forward to The Simpsons: An Uncensored, Unauthorized History by John Ortved due out Oct. 13th and Sisters Who Would Be Queen by Leanda de Lisle, also due out Oct. 13th. It's about the Grey sisters, as in Lady Jane Grey, the nine-day queen.

My favorite nonfiction author, Alison Weir, has a new book coming in Jan., Lady in the Tower about Anne Boleyn.

Congrats on the awards!!! I just discovered you guys this week and you were already added to my Google Reader. So thrilled that you won!

I love chatting with people in bookstores, but it doesn't happen much. It's a thrill when it does though.

You've got some great books in this show - The Queen Mother sounds fantastic.
