One of our local Borders sponsored a Lego Star Wars day this past Saturday. I took my boys, they LOVED it. They both had a light sabre battle with Darth Vader. Supposedly there is a blog with pictures of this “battle” posted, but I’m still searching for it.

My oldest son takes the book to bed with him every night. I think we’ll have to get another copy in the future. Ours is already looking pretty worn!

We’re all avid Star Wars fans; we were all born on years a Star Wars movie was released!

I have a Lego encyclopedia from about seven years ago all about the development and improvement of Legos. A pretty simple book (nothing as detailed as this must be) but a lot of fun to read every once in a while. This sounds pretty fun too… but it might just be because of the free figurine included…

SQUEEE!!! We already have the Star Wars Visual Dictionary but the LEGO Star Wars VD?! WOOHOO! My son will flip out over this.

My son was in first grade when the first Star Wars movie came out, which was prime time for many happy years of Star Wars LEGO geekdom. Plus, he always loved a good DK book (at age 16, he still drags his favorites out every once in awhile). Thanks! He’s getting one for Christmas. He’ll be in geek nostalgia heaven.
