My first thought was that we were getting a podcast on a Monday!  But when I finally realized it was a post, I was grateful for the recommendations.

I thought City of Bohane was terrific (I wrote a bit about it here), and Alif the Unseen sounds particularly intriguing, too.

I know Steve, when I went to link to Goodreads, I saw your review. That definitely moves it up the pile!

I am a mover, if not quite a shaker!

I think I’ll give Jess Walter a try, next time I get Audible credits (I’m not buying any more books right now – the 32 books I brought home from Booktopia 2012 have to fade a little from my husbands memory ;-) )

Alif the Unseen made my list the minute I heard about it.  I know I’ve noticed some of her graphic novels before, but never read any of them.  Might have to do that.

    Why Bradbury?

    Why The Martian Chronicles?

Just started reading “Wonder” (on your recommendation) and I am loving it! Nice short chapters, too, so a great one to leave around and pick up if you have a minute here or there…
