Our first Audiobook of the Week, and the Booktopia Bellingham talks from Caroline Leavitt and Jan-Philipp Sendker.

Our First Audiobook of the WeekRPO

Our first Audiobooks.com Audiobook of the Week is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It’s a book I’m enjoying re-“reading” by listening to the fantastic audio read by Wil Wheaton. Remember that you can get a free 7-day trial and free audiobook download by going to www.audiobooks.com/freebook!

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline was a good audio listen. Thanks for starting this segment. Audio books are a big part of my reading life.

Robin-I have never listened to an audiobook. You know the music gets in the way, but I love to let my Kindle read to me at night. I may enter a new foray of book exploration. And I am on the hunt for new books. Thinking about more self-published books to see the variety I can find.

Michael, I re-read ready player one a couple of months back on audio and it was fantastic the second time around. I think I’ve recommended this book more widely than almost anything else in the past couple of years…hard to go wrong on this one.

  • Ali Stegs

Thanks for recommending Ready Player One. I loved it! Like (commentor) Robin, I’m a big users of audio books, so I am really thrilled you’ve started this segment. Some of audiobooks.com’s features are really excellent. Thanks for introducing them.

I absolutely loved READY PLAYER ONE as a read after Michael heartly recommended it last year. But when the library offered it as an audio book I jumped at the chance to revisit it through audio and completely enjoyed it and got lost, again, in this fabulous story.
