A special episode this week, as we talk with Melissa Klug about her trip to the National Book Awards Ceremony. If you are reading this via email or RSS reader, please click through to the website where you can listen to the audio
Michael is hard at work on the 3rd annual Books on the Nightstand Holiday Gift Guide, which will be available for download here at 11:59pm Thursday, November 25th. We've chosen a great selection of books for everyone on your holiday gift list.
A bit of news: the BOTNS Weekend Retreat is officially sold out! Thank you all for your support. We are hoping to incorporate some type of online component to the retreat for those of you who can't attend. Please join the discussion at our Goodreads group to help us brainstorm ways to share the excitement.
Also, don't forget to call us with your book-related gifting challenges. Tell us a bit about the recipient, and we'll try to come up with the perfect gift recommendation. We've gotten enough calls that this will be a separate episode running sometime in early December. Thank you!

You can watch the entire awards ceremony and find more information at the National Book Foundation website.
The winners of the 2010 National Book Awards are:
We'll be back with a regular episode next week. Thanks so much to Melissa for her on-the-spot reporting! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all of our US listeners here and abroad!
