Books on the Nightstand published our final episode in July 2016. This is a place for listeners to find old episodes.

I'm sorry that we don't have show notes for all of the episodes, and that the episodes do not have consistent filenames. Still, we hope you find that the content is valuable enough to overlook those annoyances.

Thank you to all who have listened to BOTNS over the years and for those who are just discovering the podcast.

Jun 1, 2011

This week we present the final two author talks from the BOTNS Retreat, and we're a little sad. So we drop a little bit of news regarding a future retreat...

But it's not really the end of the 2011 retreat, because we have the year-long Retreat Author Reading Challenge, coupled with live online chats about the books, and often featuring the authors joining in on the chat. The next online chat will be Wednesday, June 22nd at 8:30pm EST. We'll be talking about Ellen Meeropol's House Arrest, so please mark your calendars.

Today's episode features the retreat talks from Steve Himmer, author of The Bee-Loud Glade, and Susan Gregg Gilmore, who wrote Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen and The Improper Life of Bezellia Grove. Both talks are wonderful, and I'm sure you'll enjoy them.
